Events 2016
For ICAS:MP, its first full year of operation was quite an eventful one. The different Thematic Modules (TMs) have conducted a series of International and Internal Workshops, during 2016 altogether eleven. While most of them have been hosted by ICAS:MP’s partner institutes in Delhi (IEG and CSDS), two have also been hosted at ICAS’ third partner CSSSC (Kolkata), and two more at TISS Mumbai and at NLA in Noida. A podium discussion was organised during the bi-annual Historikertag in Germany at Hamburg.
Besides these public events, a total of eight post doctoral fellows have been appointed by the Thematic Modules. While the first fellow has already joined in February 2016, most of them joined in autumn. For allowing them to discuss their research with other faculty, in August to November a Series of Fellows’ Lectures was scheduled at IEG and CSDS.
